Her Story
Why I do this work
It feels like my life’s work, shaped in part by my own personal experience."
Courtney M. Johnson practices in the areas of Surrogacy and Assisted Reproductive Technologies. Following a six-year infertility journey, she and her husband used a gestational surrogate to carry and deliver their son, who was born in 2020. She understands firsthand the pain of infertility and uses her personal and professional knowledge to compassionately advocate for those seeking to grow their families through surrogacy and assisted reproductive technologies.
Courtney graduated from the University of Florida and Florida State University College of Law. She is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida. For the first thirteen years of her legal career she worked for national, regional, and local law firms representing small businesses and individuals in civil litigation and insurance defense matters and tried numerous cases before civil juries. She utilizes this vast experience through strong oral advocacy for her clients in surrogacy and ART matters. Courtney resides in Jacksonville with her husband and son.
