How I can help you

Gestational Surrogacy
Under Florida law, parties engaging in a surrogacy arrangement must first enter into a valid gestational surrogacy agreement. This gestational surrogacy agreement sets forth the parties' intentions and obligations regarding the pregnancy and parentage of the child. The firm represents Intended Parents or Surrogates in the drafting, reviewing, and finalizing of these agreements, taking care to respect and advocate for the safety and health of all involved, working collaboratively toward the common goal of bringing a child into the world.

Embryo Donation
Embryo donation is a process through which a family who has previously gone through in vitro fertilization (IVF) to build their family donates their remaining embryos to another individual or couple (Intended Parents) for use in building their own family. Similar to egg or sperm donation, the donors of the embryos have no parental rights or obligations to the resulting child. The firm represents Embryo Donors or recipient Intended Parents in the preparation and finalization of Embryo Donation Agreements, which confirm the Intended Parents' legal parentage of the resulting child.

Egg & Sperm Donation
Florida law has specific provisions to protect the maternal or paternal rights and obligations of gamete donors and recipient Intended Parents. An egg or sperm donor unequivocally relinquishes any parental rights or obligations she or he has to the resulting child conceived through the donation. The firm represents Egg Donors, Sperm Donors, or recipient Intended Parents in the preparation and finalization of Donor Agreements, which confirm the Intended Parents' legal parentage of the resulting child.

Confirmation of Parentage
Florida law provides an expedited framework for Intended Parents to confirm their legal parentage of children born through surrogacy via a post-birth order. The firm represents Intended Parents in drafting appropriate legal petitions, appearing in Court for pre- and post-birth parentage hearings, working with the Bureau of Vital Statistics to obtain a birth certificate, and handling apostilled documents for international Intended Parents.
